No Judgment, Only Progress
Therapy for Relationships, Addiction Recovery, and Emotional Well-Being
At Healthier Connections Therapy, we understand that many emotional struggles share a common thread — feeling disconnected from yourself, from others, or from the life you want to live.
Anxiety, depression, burnout or “feeling stuck,” relationship strain, gambling and other addictive or compulsive behaviors, unresolved trauma, and difficult life transitions are often signals that something deeper needs care and attention.
Our work is about slowing down to understand the patterns driving these experiences, and helping you develop steadier, more intentional ways of relating, coping, and moving forward. Using practical tools, insight, and a warm, relational approach, we support lasting change grounded in self-awareness, resilience, and healthier connections.
“Therapy is a place where you can be yourself, without judgment."

Common Patient Concerns
How We Can Support You
Rebuilding Trust and Connections in Relationships
Connection is the core of emotional well-being — yet past experiences, family dynamics, trauma, or ingrained habits can make it feel risky to connect safely. Fear of intimacy, repeated conflict, or emotional withdrawal aren’t personal flaws, they become habits over time that can be understood and reshaped. Through relational therapy, we explore how these behaviors show up, heal underlying wounds, and practice healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others that feel authentic and sustaining.
Breaking Free from Compulsive Behaviors
Addictive behaviors, like gambling, often start as a way to escape stress, or numb painful emotions. Over time, they can cause damage in relationships, self-esteem, and trust. Here, therapy helps you unpack beneath the surface, foster appropriate coping skills, rebuild a sense of stability and regain control of your life and choices one step at a time. We collaborate with our clients to help identify coping mechanisms that have become maladaptive and develop healthier habits to manage urges effectively.
Navigate Major Life Transitions with Confidence
Change can feel destabilizing, even when it’s positive. Career transitions, feeling stuck, loss, job relocation, relationship changes, or personal growth can trigger overwhelm, stress, anxiety, burnout, or emotional fatigue. Therapy gives you a space to slow down, understand your options, and approach transitions with stability in decision-making, emotional resilience, and confidence. We support our clients with therapy for life transitions to help identify underlying issues and promote growth and resilience.
Strengthening Inner Resilience
Therapy provides a safe space to explore your inner world and uncover beliefs, experiences, and patterns shaping your life. Together, we develop tools to enhance self-awareness, respond to life’s challenges, nurture emotional strength, and develop resilience, helping you move forward in a positive direction with clarity, confidence, purpose, and balance.
Transforming Trauma into Growth
Trauma doesn’t just live in our past — it can shape our present relationships, behaviors, and sense of self. We provide trauma-informed support that helps you process experiences safely, develop emotional regulation skills, and reclaim your inner voice. Over time, therapy transforms disconnection and pain into growth, empowerment, and healthier relationships.
Restoring Balance and Energy to Live More Intentionally
Chronic stress, overwhelm, and burnout are signs that your mind and body need restoration. We help you pause, reflect, and understand what drives exhaustion in your life. By exploring patterns and practicing sustainable self-care, therapy can restore energy and focus while deepening your self-awareness allowing you to live a life more fully and intentionally.

I am a lifelong New Yorker fulfilling my childhood dream of helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful connections. I specialize in supporting those struggling with intimacy, relationship issues, addiction recovery, vulnerability, and life transitions. My practice offers a safe and judgment-free space where we can begin the healing process together. My goal is to help you rebuild your emotional wellbeing and move forward toward a healthier, more purposeful life.
With nearly a decade of experience in clinical practice, I dedicated four years to working at New York City’s Center for Intimacy Recovery, where I helped individuals and groups overcome barriers to connection and emotional closeness. I earned my Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University’s School of Social Work, graduating at the top of my class. Under the guidance of seasoned therapists with over 30 years of expertise, I have accumulated thousands of hours of hands-on, patient-focused experience. My most recent and impactful work has been treating gambling addiction, for which our society is wildly under-resourced and is just now entering the early stages of what will soon become a nationally problematic epidemic.
Asking for help is not easy, but just by being here, you have taken the first (and often hardest) step. I am committed to creating a space where you feel supported in establishing trust and connection. Together, we will work to help you feel emotionally strong, deeply connected, and in control of your life.
